Join Our Team: Sales & Application Specialist – Ophthalmology

Khalid Scientific Co., a leader in Qatar’s medical technology sector, is seeking a Sales & Application Specialist to join our expanding Ophthalmology Division. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and technically skilled professional to contribute to cutting-edge surgical and diagnostic solutions in ophthalmology.

Role Overview
As a Sales & Application Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business growth while delivering clinical and technical expertise to healthcare providers. You’ll work closely with hospitals, clinics, and global suppliers to support high-impact surgical and diagnostic ophthalmic technologies across Qatar.

Key Responsibilities
– Lead sales and business development efforts across ophthalmology portfolios.
– Provide in-depth application and clinical support to end-users in hospitals and operating rooms.
– Deliver hands-on training, product demonstrations, and clinical workshops.
– Serve as the liaison with international suppliers to ensure product excellence and support.
– Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
– Collaborate with internal and clinical teams on OR planning and integration.

Ideal Candidate Profile
– Proven experience with ophthalmic technologies including:
‣ Phacoemulsification & Vitrectomy systems
‣ Diagnostic, screening, and examination devices
‣ Refraction units and OR surgical solutions
– Deep understanding of ophthalmic procedures and hospital workflows.
– Minimum 3 years of experience in ophthalmic medical devices or surgical systems.

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, or a related field.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
– Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
– Valid Qatari driving license and flexibility to travel locally.
