About the Role

Join Al Salama Hospital’s Ophthalmology/Surgery team to assist ophthalmologists with patient screening and diagnostic testing, ensuring accurate, patient-centric eye care aligned with hospital and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen patients by measuring visual acuity, checking IOP, and administering eye drops for dilation.
• Perform diagnostic testing including A/B scan, fundus photography, OCT, visual field, FFA, and Pentacam.
• Accurately enter patient and diagnostic data into the EMR.
• Ensure compliance with data confidentiality and documentation standards.

Qualifications

Education: Nursing or applied science degree, with ophthalmic technician training (ophthalmology specialization a plus).

Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience, SCFHS-certified Ophthalmic Technician.
