Job Description
Lab Technician (Framework | Pressing | Implant | CAD/CAM Preparation)
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Technician with experience in framework fabrication, ceramic pressing, implant preparation, and CAD/CAM workflows. The ideal candidate must demonstrate precision, technical knowledge, and strict adherence to laboratory protocols.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Framework & Fitting
- Work under microscope for seating restorations and margin refinement
- Section working models and prepare dies
- Perform wax-up (manual) and finishing of digital resin frameworks
- Seat restorations after casting, pressing, or milling
- Adjust marginal, proximal, and occlusal contacts
- Sandblast, steam clean, and prepare cases for ceramic stage
Pressing (E.max & Ceramic Systems)
- Execute full ceramic pressing workflow (spruing, investing, pressing, divesting)
- Handle materials such as E.max Press, Bellavest SH, Ivoclar systems
- Operate press furnace, burnout furnace, vacuum mixer & sandblasting unit
- Ensure accurate material calculation and quality finishing
Implant Preparation
- Verify implant cases and model accuracy
- Fabricate verification jigs
- Prepare and adjust implant abutments
- Ensure passive fit and correct emergence profile
- Perform zirconia custom abutment post-processing
CAD/CAM Preparation
- Scan models and manage digital case files
- 3D print models
- Clean and inspect milled restorations
- Conduct quality control before transfer

- Strong understanding of dental materials and laboratory workflow
- Experience with implant systems and ceramic pressing
- Ability to operate lab equipment (microscope, micromotor, furnaces, CAD/CAM systems)
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Compliance with safety standards and lab protocols
- Flexible to work extended hours when required
