Role overview
The role is responsible for leading the development, performance, and revision of specialized laboratory tests on patient samples. It involves managing laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with M42 and regulatory policies, mentoring junior staff, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to lab program development. The role also requires strong decision-making to prioritize workloads, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely reporting of results.

Responsibilities
Performing tests and releasing results
Running QC
Analyzer maintenance
Troubleshooting assay problems
Training junior staff
Able to report blood films
Assay validation
Other tasks as need to suport the department supervisor

Qualifications
BSc in Medical Laboratory Science
At least 5 years post graduation experience in high complexity hematology laboratory setting
DOH license
