Role Description

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. The Medical Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients, responsible for appointment scheduling, managing insurance approvals, and supporting overall medical office operations. You will work closely with our clinical team to ensure seamless patient experiences from arrival through treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage patient appointments
  • Handle front desk reception duties including welcoming patients and answering phone calls
  • Manage insurance approvals and monitor claims using IT medical systems
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records
  • Ensure smooth coordination between clinical and administrative teams
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all patients feel cared for and informed
  • Support day-to-day operations of the medical office

Qualifications:

  • Preferable 2 years of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
  • Proficient in managing insurance approvals and monitoring through IT medical systems
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong phone etiquette and front desk management skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Previous experience with UAE insurance processes is a plus
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
