• Responsible for cleaning, sterilizing & assembling of instruments
• Operates autoclave machines, Heat sealers and other machines in CSSD
• Collect used supplies and instruments for cleaning and sterilization
• Daily test for sterilizers using bowie dick test and weekly biological spores test
• Disinfects machines and flooring with disinfectant solutions daily and as needed
• Checks integrity of the packs, wrapper and seals after sterilization
• Responsible in changing expired disinfectant solutions
• Examines the condition of the instruments very carefully before packing
• Understands and practices sterile technique

Education:

• Bachelor or Diploma degree in Nursing or CSSD or Accredited training course certified by MOH
• Ambulatory care or In-patient CSSD experience
• Preferred 1 years of employment of relevant experience
