Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Qatar for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The LPN will provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering prescribed medications, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting basic wound care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Daily responsibilities include documenting patient observations, maintaining accurate medical records, and communicating changes in patient status to the healthcare team. The LPN will educate patients and families on care plans and treatment instructions, follow infection control protocols, and help ensure a safe and comfortable environment. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate services and contribute to continuous quality improvement in patient care.

Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (or equivalent) qualification, with eligibility to practice in Qatar according to local regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated clinical skills in basic patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and routine wound and hygiene care.
  • Strong patient-centered care abilities, including empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respectful communication with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in accurate documentation, record-keeping, and adherence to care plans, safety guidelines, and infection control standards.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to follow supervision, coordinate with multidisciplinary staff, and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in home care, community health, or similar clinical settings is preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed and maintain professional conduct consistent with organizational policies and ethical standards.
