Job Purpose The Pharmacy Head of Clinical Services provides strategic clinical leadership, service development, research support, and formulary management within a compounding pharmacy specializing in longevity, and personalized therapeutics. This role ensures that clinical operations, formulary strategy, service innovation, and provider engagement align with organizational goals and best practices in personalized medicine. The individual serves as the primary clinical leader, guiding therapeutic strategy, staff development, research initiatives, and product innovation in collaboration with medical and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of Clinical Programs
- Standardize clinical processes for therapy selection, monitoring, titration, and follow-up.
- Lead creation of clinical programs in therapeutics and ensure they reflect current scientific evidence and are scalable for growth.
- Identify opportunities to introduce novel formulations, dosing strategies, and personalized therapeutic tools.
- Collaborate with marketing and education teams on evidence-based content for providers and patients.
- Leads the development and integration of compounded and personalized medicine and formulary content into the EHR, working with medical and IT teams to build order sets, clinical decision support tools, and AI-enhanced features that support safe, efficient, and evidence-based pharmacotherapy.
- Alignment with Organizational Strategy
- Ensure clinical programs support the company’s strategic goals in longevity and personalized medicine.
- Collaborate with leadership, operations, quality, and provider-relations teams to optimize service delivery.
- Formulary Management & Product Strategy
- Manage the compounding formulary, reviewing and optimizing offerings based on clinical value and demand.
- Guide decisions regarding new product adoption, therapeutic substitutions, and evidence-based product optimization.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations on inventory and supply-chain alignment.
- Clinical Documentation, Protocols & Digital Integration
- Oversee development of clinical documents, SOP-aligned protocols, therapy guidelines, provider use-guides, and internal clinical resources for the compounding pharmacy.
- Guide integration of clinical formulary data into digital platforms, prescribing portals, and provider-support tools.
- Partner with the Quality Pharmacist to enhance safety of compounded formulations.
- KPI Development & Performance Monitoring
- Define clinical KPIs related to therapeutic outcomes, patient satisfaction and program adoption.
- Track and monitor performance metrics to support quality improvement and business strategy.
- Staff Leadership & Development
- Oversee clinical competency programs for pharmacists and technicians.
- Support staff training, mentorship, and team clinical alignment.
- Research, Innovation & Growth
- Support or lead research initiatives involving coumpounded therapeutics, and personalized medicine.
- Contribute to clinical publications, pilot projects, outcome-tracking studies, and innovation pipelines.

Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred).
- Master’s degree in business administration or health administration(preferred)
- DOH/HAAD license or eligibility for licensure in Abu Dhabi.
- Minimum 7 years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably with experience in a compounding pharmacy role.
- Experience in developing and leading clinical programs.
- Excellent organizational, collaboration and time management skills
- Proficiency in analysing clinical outcomes and integrating quality improvement initiatives.
