Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff and trainees in a variety of clinical settings.
  • Supervise and mentor healthcare professionals, including students, residents, and fellows, ensuring clinical education aligns with academic and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with the academic institutions and professional bodies to develop and implement clinical education programs.
  • Ensure the integration of the latest evidence-based practices into clinical teaching and practice.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate assessment tools for clinical education and performance.
  • Participate in the design and delivery of workshops, training sessions, and seminars to enhance the professional development of clinical staff.
  • Contribute to research projects and publications, supporting the academic mission of Capital Health.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth among the clinical team.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree is mandatory; PhD preferred
  • Education Manager Experience preferred including at least 3 years minimum in a Clinical Resource Nurse position
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other Learning Management System (Lippincott, Litmos, SharePoint and etc.)
  • Able to lead and collaborate effectively with staff and administrators
  • Course development experience is a must
  • Well-versed of Department of Health Education and Training regulatory requirements
  • Led and participated in accreditation bodies locally and internationally (JCIA, CARF, DOH and etc)
  • DOH license or eligibility for licensing by the Health Authority – Abu Dhabi (DOH)
