Department: Revenue Cycle Management

About the Role:

Al Salama Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Claims Officer to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of claims and invoices, contributing to the financial efficiency of the hospital while maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process claims and invoices for accuracy, coding, and regulatory compliance.
  • Submit bills to insurance providers and private payers within set deadlines.
  • Update systems with payments, dispatched bills, and analyze outstanding balances.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
  • Prepare reconciliation statements and handle rejected claims appropriately.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum: Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or healthcare-related diploma.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in accounts or RCM billing (healthcare facility experience preferred).
  • Certification: Medical coding certification is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Intermediate knowledge of healthcare billing processes and medical terminology.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
