Job Description
Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Urologist to join our prestigious facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide specialized urological care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients with conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. This role requires a commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and adherence to the hospital’s international standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert outpatient consultations for a wide range of urological conditions (e.g., BPH, kidney stones, incontinence, urological cancers, and male infertility).
Perform minor and major urological procedures in the clinic, day surgery, and operating theater as per the privileges granted.
Interpret diagnostic tests, including ultrasound, CT scans, urodynamics, and laboratory results.
Collaborate with other specialists (Oncology, Nephrology, Gynecology) to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with DHA regulations and hospital policies.
Participate in on-call duties as required for emergencies (if stipulated in the part-time agreement).
Ensure compliance with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) standards, Joint Commission International (JCI) standards, and hospital infection control protocols.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) followed by a recognized residency program in Urology.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as a consultant or specialist urologist post-residency/fellowship.
Licensure: Valid DHA license (Specialist/Consultant) or DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
Skills: Proficiency in minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy/endourology) is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
