Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.

We are seeking a Neonatologist Specialist to join our expert team. You will provide specialized neonatal care, manage high-risk deliveries, and deliver comprehensive treatment for premature and critically ill babies in a busy, high-volume clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based care for neonates in the Level III NICU.
  • Assist in managing high-risk deliveries and support high-risk pregnancies.
  • Diagnose and treat complex neonatal conditions, including resuscitation and stabilization.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with DOH standards, hospital protocols, and international best practices.
  • Participate in departmental education, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialist certification in Neonatology.
  • DOH license or eligibility as Neonatologist Specialist.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Level III NICU, managing premature and critically ill babies.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work in high-pressure, high-volume environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
