Responsibilities
Leadership
- Demonstrate critical thinking, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
- Promote interdisciplinary teamwork and act as a role model for nursing staff.
- Supervise junior nurses and students, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
- Participate in organizational change and perform in-charge duties when delegated.
Clinical Practice
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare facility policies.
- Utilize electronic health records (e.g., Malaffi) efficiently.
- Monitor patient conditions, escalate care as needed, and apply early warning tools.
- Manage pain assessment and treatment according to guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Nursing OR
Associate degree in Nursing from Canada or USA with minimum two (2) years course
duration AND
Successful completion of the National exam:
USA: NCLEX – RN
Canada: Licensing Exam
Required:
Minimum two (2) years clinical experience post qualification
