- Provide direct nursing care to burn patients in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
- Monitor patients’ conditions, vital signs, and wound healing progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in wound care, dressing changes, and infection control procedures.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary medical team to implement care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
The staff nurse will also be expected to contribute to the wider corporate and
organizational development needs as appropriate within scope of practice.
The staff nurse will be expected to ensure compliance with the requirement of the
Health and Safety regulations of the hospital.

Qualifications
Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree in nursing OR
Associate degree in Nursing from Canada or USA with minimum two (2) years course
duration AND
Successful completion of the National exam:
USA: NCLEX – RN
Canada: Licensing Exam
Required:
Minimum two (2) years clinical experience post qualification in burn unit .
