Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist role at Prayatna Healthcare is a full-time, on-site position located in Dubai. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders across a diverse pediatric caseload. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting formal and informal evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and maintaining accurate documentation of progress and outcomes. The role involves providing therapy for speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication challenges, and dysphagia, while collaborating closely with psychologists, occupational therapists, special educators, and other team members. The Speech Language Pathologist will also guide and train parents and caregivers through education sessions, participate in case conferences, and contribute to multidisciplinary planning to ensure integrated, family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competence in Speech Therapy, including assessment and intervention for a range of pediatric communication needs.
• Arabic Speaker
• Strong skills in evaluating and treating Speech and Language Disorders, with the ability to design individualized therapy plans.
• Experience working with Communication Disorders, including social communication and pragmatic language challenges.
• Clinical knowledge and practical experience in managing Dysphagia and related feeding and swallowing difficulties.
• Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders, with relevant professional licensure or eligibility for licensure in the region.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly with families and caregivers.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed clinical records, reporting outcomes, and using evidence-based practices.
• Prior pediatric or child-development experience, preferably in a therapy center or school-based setting; familiarity with autism spectrum and neurodevelopmental conditions is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to non-discriminatory, family-centered care.
