Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech Language Therapist (SLT) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The therapist will work collaboratively with physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support patients’ communication abilities and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across age groups.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, reports, and documentation.
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication and swallowing management.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Conduct therapy sessions individually or in groups as appropriate.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, quality standards, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology / Speech Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional license or registration (DOH / DHA / MOH or equivalent).
• Experience in a clinical, hospital, or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
