Job Description

The Speech Therapist is responsible for visiting Clients and patients while always providing the highest quality standard of care for all patients. The Speech Therapist is to manage a patients’ progress and ensure that their assistance and treatment is making a positive impact on their health.

Accountabilities

• Provide Speech Therapy to patients of all ages.
• Undertake and record a thorough assessment using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Design accurate and specific treatment plans for each patient.
• Helping patients to achieve the desired goals and advise on the treatment options
• Coordinating with patients, parents and treating physicians on the establishment of care plan and conducting the program to correct the speech disorders
• Knowledgeable on the new advance innovative therapies to provide the best care and achieve the desired outcome
• Evaluating patient progress and implementing the changes as required
• Keeping up to date with the advancements of the skills by attending conferences, webinars, CMEs
• Provide appropriate advice based on the patient’s medical, social and cultural circumstances
• Plan and deliver individual Speech Therapist treatment programs.
• Prepare the schedule on a weekly basis according to the patient request
• Respect patient confidentiality always and abide by code of conduct and ethic in the scope of practice.
• Maintaining a good reputation of the company at all the time

Education & Experience:

• DHA license – Speech Therapist
• Speech Therapist degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 2-3 years’ working experience
• Strong English-speaking skills. Arabic speaking skills will be added benefit
