Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The Sonographer will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and providing accurate imaging results for physician review.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. This is a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain optimal images.
• Analyze and record test results, providing clear images and documentation for physician interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information.
• Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure timely patient care.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
• Valid DHA, MOH, or DOH license or eligibility to practice as a Sonographer in the UAE.
• Proven experience working as a Sonographer in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to ultrasound imaging.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
