Role Description The Senior Project Engineer will lead and manage medical engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project planning and design activities, reviewing technical specifications, overseeing installations, and liaising with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and align expectations. The role involves preparing project documentation, monitoring progress, managing risks, and supporting commissioning and handover of systems in hospitals and clinics. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in El Maadi, with a mix of on-site presence and some work from home. The Senior Project Engineer will also mentor junior engineering staff and contribute to continuous improvement of project processes and technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Biomedical Engineering skills, with experience in medical or healthcare-related systems preferred.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management and Project Planning, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and coordination of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, and prepare clear technical and project documentation.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering complex engineering projects, familiarity with healthcare standards and regulations, and proficiency in common engineering and project management software tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
