Job Description
Participates in the collaborative care/ education of individuals of all ages, families, groups, and communities, patients or healthy, and in all settings. Includes the promotion of health, prevention of illness, and provides the needed care to the patient, disabled, In addition to end-of-life care
Provides professional leadership through the supervision of the patient care team, and the maintenance of clinical standards and quality of patient care within the unit during their shift.
Qualifications
Qualification Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing OR
- Associate degree in Nursing from Canada or USA with a minimum two (2) years course duration AND
- Successful completion of the National exam:
- USA: NCLEX – RN
- Canada: Licensing Exam
Specialist Required:
Minimum 1-year postgraduate accredited specialized program.
Preferred:
a. Certificate proof of yearly 20 CE related to Diabetes Education
b. Continuous of post graduate courses
Experience Required:
- A total of 3 years’ experience post qualification inclusive of one year of team leader experience or acting charge nurse experience.
- UAE Nurses: total 2 years post qualification, inclusive of 6 months of team leader experience.
Preferred:
- Has or is working toward a relevant post-graduation qualification
- Participation in quality or organizational improvement projects
1 year in a specialty area
