Sales Manager – Hematology

Job Description

Key responsibility Sales Management:

  • Manage the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to maximize their potential and drive results.
  • Implement effective sales processes and performance metrics to monitor individual and team performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with other internal teams such as marketing, operations, and supply chain to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities, target potential customers, and establish strategic partnerships to expand the company’s customer base
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeated business
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

Market Analysis and Planning:

  • Continuously monitor and identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans, regularly reviewing and adjusting strategies to meet changing market conditions
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to the hand tools and trading sector.

Academic Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine or Pharmaceutical Science.
  • Degrees in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Professional Experience Required

  • Proven track record of at least 7-10 years in sales and business development roles in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the specialty drugs ex. Oncology, biologicals, orphan drugs….ete.
  • Strong understanding of the Egyptian market dynamics, customer preferences, and cultural nuances
  • Experience in managing a sales team and driving their performance to achieve sales targets.

Computing Skills

  • Excellent office MS skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
