Job Description

Registered Nurse in outpatient Care provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient facility or clinic. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being as Outpatient Registered Nurse care assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. 

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of evidence-based care to patients at the Hospital.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure patients and their relatives are regularly updated with accurate information, communicated sensitively and in a way they understand.
• Uphold high standards of care across all departments.
• Adhere to Dubai Health Authority (DHA) guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Respect each patient’s cultural and religious beliefs, privacy, dignity, gender, and sexuality.
• Work flexibly across the organization to maintain safe staffing levels or to meet identified personal development needs.
• Participate in nursing audits as required.
• Be willing to assume a link role for the Hospital (e.g., infection control, nursing audits), ensuring staff are kept updated on specialist areas.

Qualifications

• UAE Medical Health Authority License (DHA).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or Degree in Nursing (minimum two years course duration) And Registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.
• Has worked in hospital or similar setting for at least 2 years
• ONC and Chemotherapy certificate preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to manage digital documentation and communication effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, ensuring goals are met in dynamic environments.
