Hospital as a Pyschiatry Registrar
Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting
  with a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral
  health conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments,
  including mental status examinations and risk
  assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment
  plans in collaboration with consultants and the
  multidisciplinary team.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and monitor patients’
  clinical progress, treatment response, and
  medication side effects.
• Assist in the management of psychiatric
  emergencies, including assessment of suicide, self-
  harm, aggression, and other safety risks.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
  under appropriate supervision and in accordance
  with hospital policies.
  Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS/MBChB) or equivalen
  from a recognized institution.
• Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS)
  registration and classification as Psychiatry Registrar.
• Completion of the required postgraduate training in
  Psychiatry or equivalent recognized qualification, as
  applicable.
• Previous clinical experience in psychiatry and/or mental
  health services is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and
  evidence-based treatment approaches.
