Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Physical Therapy Technician with hands-on experience in managing lymphedema cases and performing Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). The candidate will support the rehabilitation team in delivering specialized care to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering physical therapy treatments under supervision
• Provide support in lymphedema management programs
• Perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) techniques as appropriate
• Prepare patients for therapy sessions and ensure proper use of equipment
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to therapists
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments
• Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment

Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant certification in Physical Therapy or related field
• Proven experience in lymphedema management and MLD techniques
• Valid license (SCFHS preferred)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic knowledge of rehabilitation practices and patient care
