Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy + MBA preferably.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Leadership.

  • Problem-Solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor pharmaceutical re-ordering levels, prices, and expiry dates of inventory.
  • Monitor and rep of drug consumption.
  • Perform expiry date checks returning near and items to main drug store according to the expired medication supervising.
  • Receiving of Drugs and medical supplies from main drug store.
  • Responsible for the completion of relevant documentation by the end of each workday.
  • Responsible for matching computer balances to on-shelf inventory levels.
  • Responsible for recording any stock movement into the computer system by the end of each workday.
  • Working on resolving issues related to drug dispensing and approvals.
  • Requesting daily shortages and needs of medications and others, and the monthly orders.
  • Establish, maintain, and oversee the highest standard of dispensing possible, which will be carried out by staff in the department.
  • Recruit and select high-caliber staff within the departmental budget and maintain harmonious working relationships.
  • Provide in-service training development and regular assessment of staff.
  • Supervise the work of members of the department to ensure agreed standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Be familiar with Egyptian laws and work Ethics of Egypt.
  • Establish and maintain regular communications with medical staff.
  • Ensure adequate and acceptable staffing cover as and when required by the needs of the pharmacy.
  • Analyze monthly departmental performance reports and take appropriate action on variances.
  • Observe legal requirements about health and safety precautions and procedures.
  • Keep track of all departmental Key performance indicators and activate quality improvement projects.
  • Communicating with different departments of the company.
  • Communicating with Egyptian Drug Authority.
