Responsibilities
This role is a leadership-focused nursing position that blends managerial, technical, patient care, education, and communication responsibilities to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery. Here’s a concise summary:
Leadership & Management: Guides nursing staff, provides mentorship, supports interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensures optimal resource utilization. Oversees staff performance, budget preparation, and adherence to clinical standards.
Patient Care & Advocacy: Assesses needs, develops care plans, facilitates emotional support, coordinates services, and monitors patient progress. Ensures evidence-based care, cultural sensitivity, and safe practices.
Education & Training: Educates staff, patients, and families on healthcare measures, disease management, and patient experience. Promotes health education initiatives within the organization and community.
Quality & Safety: Upholds professional conduct, prioritizes patient satisfaction, and manages concerns effectively. Maintains high standards of communication and customer service.
Communication & Coordination: Collaborates with healthcare professionals across various departments, ensures compliance with regulatory targets, and facilitates effective communication between patients and care teams.
Qualifications
Required Experience
Charge Nurse experience + 2 years experience as per DOH PQR
OR
Staff Nurse experience as per DOH PQR / + 4 years experience
OR
Being current SEHA Charge Nurse or Staff Nurse with no experience in Care Coordination but Completed SEHA specialty Training Program in lieu of Experience required (this condition is applicable only for current SEHA employees not new joiners)
Desired
Experience in tertiary Healthcare facility
Qualification Required
Bachelor degree in nursing or equivalent qualification of NLT 3 years study duration from an
accredited program;
Specialist Certificate Desired
- Care Coordination certification
- Area of specialty certification.
