OPTOMETRIST WITH VALID DOH LICENSE
LOCATION: ABU DHABI, UAE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

▸ Welcome, greet, and provide excellent customer service in a genuine and friendly manner to all customers from the moment they enter the store.
▸ Conduct eye exams (including RTA eye tests) using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
▸ Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and recommend appropriate vision care.
▸ Operate other optical equipment for eye health diagnostic and consultation.
▸ Handle medical insurance claims and other documentation.
▸ Collect and record relevant customer information in the CRM system.
▸ Ensure all customer inquiries and complaints are handled promptly and in a professional way and escalated to senior team members if needed.
▸ Keep the eye test room, equipment, and tools in perfect condition, clean and organised.
▸ Participate, whenever needed, in inventory/stock management and aftersales procedures.
▸ Participate in relevant training and comply with the company’s operational standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

✦ Optometry degree and valid DOH license.
✦ 3+ years of experience as an optometrist in the UAE.
✦ In-depth knowledge and applied understanding of best practices in optometry and related diagnostic.
✦ Strong interpersonal skills to ensure flawless customer experience – in person, over the phone, and through email.
✦ Excellent communication skills and English language abilities.
✦ Willingness to learn and continuously develop professional competency.
✦ Confidence, professionalism, and teamwork at all times.
