As an Optometrist and Optical Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our valued customers and clients. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about optics, has excellent interpersonal skills, and possesses a strong understanding of optical products and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their unique optical needs and requirements.
- Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
- Diagnose and refer in cases of severe ocular diseases.
- Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Recommend appropriate customer follow-up and care options.
- Answer
patients
- questions and provide advice to regarding vision and optical issues.
- Direct staff and assist in the development of the overall practice.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and products to provide cutting-edge solutions.
- Drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct thorough measurements and fittings to ensure precise and comfortable eyewear selection.
- Explain product features, benefits, and pricing clearly and concisely.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of the eyewear display area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and foster a positive work environment.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry (Mandatory)
DHA License (Passed – Mandatory)
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in eyewear and optics sales (Mandatory)
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (Mandatory)
- In-depth knowledge of optical products, lens technologies, and industry standards
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with customers
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to optical field advancements
- General computer proficiency
- Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering top-notch service
