Responsibilities
- Interprets referrals and conducts initial evaluations to identify and diagnose physiological, psychological, and cognitive issues.
- Develops, delivers, and modifies treatment plans tailored to the individual’s physiological, cognitive, and psychological needs.
- Performs ongoing risk assessments and adheres to safety measures during therapy sessions.
- Implements strategies to promote client self-management and health education to enhance overall well-being.
- Completes administrative tasks related to patient care, including documentation, billing, and insurance submissions, in compliance with policies.
- Works with the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care throughout the entire treatment process.
- Participates in clinical handovers, inventory maintenance, marketing activities, and defines patient-centered goals, ensuring informed consent and understanding of treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in occupational therapy in a large hospital.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous professional development.
