Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Nurse – Outpatient / Polyclinic.

The Head Nurse will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of nursing operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, proper clinic readiness, and adherence to clinical and operational standards.

This is a hands-on role suited for candidates with practical experience in outpatient or polyclinic settings, rather than large hospital-based management roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations across outpatient clinics
• Ensure efficient patient flow and clinic readiness
• Monitor infection control, sterilization, and nursing protocols
• Maintain compliance with Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions standards
• Train and guide nursing staff on protocols and patient handling
• Coordinate closely with physicians to ensure smooth operations
• Oversee documentation, supplies, and nursing performance
• Support quality improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Head Nurse or Senior Nurse in a polyclinic / outpatient setting
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia
• Familiarity with CBAHI standards in outpatient clinics
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Hands-on and operational mindset
• Valid SCFHS license
