Established in 2022, Mubadala Health Dubai offers world-class treatments and advanced technology, facilitated by a clinical team of experts with extensive knowledge and experience. Our state-of-the-art outpatient facility provides day surgery, outpatient consultations, and comprehensive diagnostic services for over 30 clinical specialties.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead our outpatient and surgical nursing services within a patient-centered healthcare environment. This role is ideal for a clinically strong nursing leader with proven experience overseeing high-volume clinical operations, driving quality and patient safety initiatives, and developing high-performing nursing teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care across ambulatory and perioperative services, while supporting organizational objectives in operational excellence, quality outcomes, accreditation readiness, and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services across Outpatient Clinics, Operating Theatres (OT), Day Surgery Unit (DSU), and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care delivery.
- Lead and develop nursing teams through effective workforce planning, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and staff engagement initiatives.
- Drive clinical quality and patient safety outcomes by monitoring key performance indicators, implementing evidence-based practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Champion continuous improvement and education initiatives, fostering a culture of learning, competency development, and clinical excellence across the nursing workforce.
- Partner closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders, including physicians, allied health professionals, and operational leaders, to optimize patient flow, service efficiency, and patient experience.
- Oversee clinical operations within high-volume healthcare settings, ensuring optimal resource utilization, capacity management, and achievement of departmental goals and service standards.
- Support digital transformation and clinical informatics initiatives, serving as a key advocate for electronic medical records and workflow optimization, including Cerner utilization and adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse license in the UAE.
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive nursing experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience managing Outpatient Services, Operating Rooms, Day Surgery, and PACU environments.
- Strong background in clinical operations, quality management, and nursing education.
- Experience working in large hospitals or high-volume ambulatory care settings.
- Hands-on experience supporting or leading JCI accreditation activities and regulatory compliance.
