Job Summary:
The Home Care Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate healthcare services. The nurse is responsible for assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, administering treatments, educating patients and caregivers, and promoting optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and document patients’ health conditions during home visits.
- Administer medications, injections, wound care, and other prescribed treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients with chronic illnesses and post-hospitalization needs.
- Educate patients and family members on disease management, medication administration, and preventive care.
- Identify changes in patient conditions and report concerns to the attending physician.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and visit documentation.
- Provide emotional support and promote patient comfort and well-being.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations including CBAHI.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
- Valid classification and registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
- Previous experience in home health care is a must.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused.

- Strong clinical assessment and independent decision-making skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work autonomously in unstructured, home-based environments.
