Doctors Pharma (DP), a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is expanding its Quality Control team. We are seeking a committed, detail-oriented professional to join our Microbiology Laboratory.

🔹 Job Vacancy: Microbiology Technician
📍 Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
📌 Type of Contract: Full-time | On-site

👤 Reporting To: Microbiology Section Head

🔹 Role Summary:
The Microbiology Technician will support routine microbiological laboratory operations, including water and environmental monitoring sampling, media preparation, laboratory equipment operation, and maintenance of a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
·      Collect water samples from water stations and designated water points for microbiological and chemical testing.
·      Perform sampling activities for the Environmental Monitoring (EM) program.
·      Prepare, pour, store, and decontaminate microbiological media.
·      Prepare disinfectant solutions according to approved procedures.
·      Operate laboratory equipment in line with applicable instructions and safety requirements.
·      Record laboratory temperature and humidity readings accurately.
·      Clean laboratory equipment, glassware, and designated laboratory areas.
·      Support proper laboratory housekeeping and safe handling of microbiological materials.

🔹 Qualifications & Requirements
·      High school diploma.
·      Minimum one year of relevant experience.
·      Basic English communication skills.
·      Basic computer skills.
·      Willingness to learn and develop in a pharmaceutical Quality Control environment.
·      Clean, organized, and able to follow procedures carefully.

🔹 Working Conditions
·      Exposure to hazardous microbiological media and active substances.
·      Work in environments with occasional offensive odors.
·      Handling and washing glassware, with appropriate care to prevent cuts and injuries.
