Medical Science Liaison You will be a Medical Science Liaison based in Kuwait. You will build trusted scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and academic experts across Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. You will share balanced, evidence-based science and gather medical insights that shape local medical strategy and clinical research. You will support investigators and clinical study activities and work closely with Medical Affairs and cross-functional colleagues. Responsibilities: This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, academic experts and other clinical stakeholders in your territory.
  • Lead fair, balanced, and evidence-based scientific exchange to support clinical decision making and patient care.
  • Capture, document and report medical insights from the field to inform medical strategy and evidence generation.
  • Support identification and activation of investigators and clinical trial sites, and provide scientific support for investigator-initiated studies.
  • Plan and prioritise territory activities, manage your schedule, and document interactions in the required systems.
  • Work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations and commercial colleagues to deliver timely, customer-focused medical support.

Why You? Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

  • Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences or equivalent (MD, PharmD, PhD or similar).
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a field medical role within the pharmaceutical or clinical research sector.
  • Experience working in the Gulf and familiarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar healthcare systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to explain complex scientific concepts simply and adapt to different audiences.
  • Solid grounding in clinical science and an ability to interpret clinical data and basic statistics.
  • Experience or understanding of clinical research principles and clinical trial processes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Kuwait and the region as required; role is field-based and on-site in territory with hybrid working for internal meetings.

Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

  • Previous experience with cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and experience using CRM or medical information systems.
  • Comfort working in a matrix environment and collaborating across functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate field insights into local medical actions or evidence generation plans

Working model

This role is field-based and on-site in your assigned territory in Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar. You will have flexibility for hybrid working when meeting internal colleagues or completing office-based tasks. Expect regular travel across the territory.
