Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Pharmacist will dispense and verify prescriptions, ensuring accurate dosing, appropriate medication selection, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include counseling patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage, as well as answering health-related questions in a clear and supportive manner. The role involves maintaining pharmacy records, managing inventory and expiry dates, and coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to resolve prescription issues. The Pharmacist will also support medication therapy management, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and adhere to local laws and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacist in the United Arab Emirates, with a recognized pharmacy degree (BPharm or equivalent).
  • Strong clinical knowledge of medications, dosages, contraindications, interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations.
  • Ability to provide clear, empathetic patient counseling and strong communication skills in English; Arabic or other language skills are an advantage.
  • Experience with pharmacy dispensing systems, prescription processing, and accurate documentation.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation effectively.
  • Understanding of UAE healthcare regulations, pharmacy laws, and ethical standards of practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, maintain professionalism under pressure, and deliver consistent, high-quality patient service.
  • Previous community pharmacy or retail pharmacy experience in Dubai or the wider UAE market is preferred.
