Job Purpose:

The Lab Chemist is responsible for conducting laboratory testing and analysis in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards, ensuring accurate results, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions required for testing
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Record, review, and report test results accurately
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, GLP, and EHS requirements
• Support OOS investigations and routine calibration activities
• Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples and chemicals
• Maintain accurate documentation and a clean, safe laboratory environment
• Report abnormalities, deviations, and equipment issues to the supervisor
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct home visits/off-site assignments when required based on business or project needs
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome
• Basic knowledge of chemistry, laboratory practices, GMP/GLP, and safety
• Good Microsoft Office and English skills
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a structured environment
• Flexible to conduct home visits/off-site assignments based on business needs
