Job Description And Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the existing renewal book, with review of accounts well in advance of renewal date’s to ensure the profitability of the book.
  • Handle day to day underwriting functions in a prompt manner by adhering to the prescribed guidelines and procedures.
  • Monitor the progress of risk management of the clients arrange periodic risk surveys.
  • Ability to scrutinize new submissions received and analyze the risk in line with Underwriting Guidelines in support of Underwriting decisions.
  • Working closely with different business channels in securing new businesses as well as retention of existing portfolios.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports, premium and claims statistics, in order to facilitate Management’s review and decision making actions.
  • Must provide highest standard of customer experience to all business partners.

Required Skills to be successful:

  • Holding a relevant university degree or general insurance qualification
  • Having over 5 – 7 years of work experience in the field of insurance handling similar job responsibilities.
  • Experience and sound technical knowledge in handling Property Insurance
  • Should have attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload in meeting deadlines and agreed TAT
  • Good skills in MS office (Excel, Word, PPT) Outlook and internet application
