About the Role
The Information Technology Specialist Trainee will support the Information and Communication Technology team in managing and maintaining Al Salama Hospital hardware assets, including device specification, documentation, and technical support. This program offers hands-on experience and practical exposure to IT operations within a professional healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining appropriate specifications for new devices and verify that received equipment meets required standards.
- Document devices and their accessories across the organization and log hardware issues on a daily basis.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on devices and equipment.
- Respond to user inquiries related to hardware and software issues, providing solutions where possible or escalating to the relevant teams.
- Verify that systems contain the required software, including operating systems, and escalate major faults to vendors or maintenance personnel.
- Prepare technical reports and contribute to improving work methods through the use of modern technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience (fresh graduates and recent graduates are welcome).
- Good English communication skills.
- Basic MS Office skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Enrolled in or eligible for the Tamheer Program through HRDF.
