The Healthcare Aide provides direct support to patients, assisting with daily care activities while ensuring safety, dignity, and emotional support. This role works closely with the clinical team to maintain a therapeutic, respectful, and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional condition
• Provide emotional support and companionship, promoting dignity and respect
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive care environment
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with nurses and the multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized care
  

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in LTVU
• Basic knowledge of patient care, safety practices, and infection control.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong communication skills.
• Must have DOH License
