Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform professional duties as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist
- Provides inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services, including infant delivery and related surgical procedures, at partner hospitals.
- Covering the Delivery Room to include admitting patients, reviewing their history, planning a course of action, performing both spontaneous and operative deliveries, and interacting with midwives.
- Communicating with families of patients to keep them updated on the patient’s condition, changes to the condition, and plans.
- Direct, advise, and supervise medical staff including nurses, physician assistants, med techs, etc. on proper procedures and protocol
- Follows medical practice policies and procedures, including attending all mandatory meetings, minimizing incident reports, using resources efficiently, and practicing medicine in a cost-effective manner.
- Completes all required documentation accurately, timely, and thoroughly in accordance with department standards and to comply with electronic medical record requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine
- Specialization Certificate in Obstetrics and Gynecology
