Emergency Medical Technician – EMT

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team in Dubai. The EMT will be responsible for providing medical care and transportation for patients in non-emergency transport, and medical bystanding for events and corporate sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid DCAS EMT license and a strong commitment to patient care.

Location: Al Karama, Dubai, UAE

  • Respond promptly to calls and provide efficient medical care
  • Transport patients safely to/from/between healthcare facilities
  • Provide medical bystanding at events and corporate sites
  • Be able to provide basic life support and emergency medical procedures
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment and ambulances
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and first responders
  • Document patient information and care provided accurately

Requirements

Minimum:

  • 2 years experience as EMT (or emergency services)
  • DCAS Prometric passed
  • DCAS Dataflow positive
  • Eligible for DCAS license
  • 1 year work experience in UAE as EMT (DOH / MOH license)
  • Certification in Basic Life Support
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Clean Police clearance certificate
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
  • Clean and professional appearance

Preferred:

  • DCAS EMT license (valid and Active)
  • more than 1 year recent work experience as EMT in Dubai
  • UAE driving license (more than 1 year experience)
  • DCAS ambulance driving license
  • knowledge of UAE roads
  • Advanced trauma skills (ACLS, PHTLS, …)
  • Proficiency in Arabic
  • Experience in the Dubai/UAE medical industry
  • Knowledge of the UAE roads
