Job Description

Company Description SunShine Land Pediatric Dentistry Clinic is an emerging pediatric dental clinic in Dubai, dedicated to creating a warm, supportive environment where clinical experience matters as much as clinical outcomes. The clinic is building a multidisciplinary team including pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, surgeons, hygienists, dental assistants, and nurses who prioritize patient comfort and emotional well-being. SunShine Land focuses on high-quality care for children and families, ensuring that every visit feels safe, positive, and reassuring. The clinic values professionals who are passionate about pediatric healthcare and eager to help shape a new standard of care in Dubai. Candidates are encouraged to connect early as the clinic prepares for launch and future expansion.
Role Description The Dental Assistant Head Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for leading and coordinating nursing and dental assisting activities within the pediatric dentistry clinic. This role oversees daily clinical operations, including managing nursing schedules, supervising dental assistants, and ensuring that patient care protocols are followed consistently. The Dental Assistant Head Nurse supports dentists during procedures, prepares and sterilizes instruments, assists with pediatric patients in the chair, and helps maintain a calm, child-friendly environment. Daily tasks include monitoring patient flow, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, supporting infection control practices, and collaborating with the wider clinical team to optimize patient experience and safety. The role also involves training and mentoring team members, contributing to clinical guidelines, and participating in quality improvement initiatives across the clinic.
