  • Western Board Certification:
  • UK CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training)
  • American Board of Ophthalmology
  • Canadian FRCSC/FRCPC
  • French DES / Fellowship
  • Recognized Subspecialty Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology (and advanced pediatric fields).
  • Minimum 5+ years post-specialist certification experience.
  • Submission of surgical logbooks is mandatory in the coming process after CV application.

Role Expectations

  • Deliver consultant-level pediatric ophthalmic surgery in complex cases.
  • Lead subspecialty service development in scarce areas.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, patient safety, and training of juniors.
  • Act as a key driver in advancing pediatric eye care in the Gulf.
