Job Description

Clinical Nurse is responsible for providing safe, high-quality, and patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social evaluation.
  • Develop individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
  • Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments safely.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or complications to the medical team promptly.
  • Assist in diagnostic procedures, surgeries, and medical interventions as required.
  • Manage post-operative care, wound care, and rehabilitation support.
  • Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all nursing procedures follow evidence-based practice and institutional guidelines.
  • Report adverse events, incidents, and near misses promptly according to protocol.
  • Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications/ Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 4 years of clinical experience in a hospital or specialty setting.
  • BLS certification (ACLS preferred, depending on department).
