Position Title: Clinical Informatics Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified, skilled, and professional Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support the effective use of clinical information systems, electronic medical records, healthcare data, and digital workflows to enhance patient care, clinical efficiency, documentation quality, and compliance with hospital policies and applicable UAE healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the implementation, optimization, and effective use of clinical information systems, including HIS/EMR and related digital healthcare platforms.
• Work closely with clinical, nursing, administrative, and IT teams to improve clinical workflows and system utilization.
• Assist in analyzing clinical data and system performance to support quality improvement, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
• Provide training and guidance to healthcare professionals on the proper use of clinical systems and electronic documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient confidentiality, information security, and applicable UAE healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Identify system issues, workflow gaps, and documentation challenges, and coordinate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
• Support reporting, data extraction, and preparation of clinical information required for audits, quality indicators, and management review.
• Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Experience with HIS, EMR, clinical documentation systems, and healthcare data management is required.
• Knowledge of healthcare workflows, patient safety standards, and clinical documentation practices is essential.
• Professional certification in health informatics or healthcare IT is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
