Child psychologist
Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Child Psychologist (DHA) based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Child Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, diagnosing and treating emotional, behavioral, and psychological disorders in children. Duties include providing counseling to children and their families, developing treatment plans, and monitoring progress. The psychologist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and educators to ensure holistic care and support for the child’s overall well-being.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Psychology, Mental Health, and Psychological Testing
- Experience with Family Therapy and counseling sessions
- Knowledge and application of Medicine as it relates to mental health care
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with children and families
- Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice as a psychologist in Dubai
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related field
