The Balsam Story

In 2021, five healthcare companies from different regions of Saudi Arabia joined together to form one integrated healthcare group. This step helped combine resources, expertise, and healthcare assets into a stronger and more organized system.

The idea behind this merger was to improve the quality of healthcare services, create better value, and build a sustainable future for the healthcare sector. By working together under one structure, the company was able to turn separate healthcare operations into a connected and well-managed healthcare network.

In 2023, the organization officially became known as Balsam Medical Care and established its headquarters in Riyadh as a closed joint-stock company. The new identity reflects the company’s vision of healthcare not only as a service, but also as a long-term investment in people, communities, and future healthcare development.

Our Journey

1984 – The Beginning

The journey began in the city of Khafji with the establishment of Al-Khafji National Clinic, laying the foundation for what would later become Balsam Medical Care.
