Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.
About the role:
Are you a passionate Respiratory Therapist ready to make a real difference across NICU, PICU, LTC, and Outpatient settings? We’re looking for a skilled, patient-focused professional to join our multidisciplinary team and help deliver advanced, evidence based respiratory care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced respiratory care across critical and acute settings
- Manage invasive & non-invasive ventilation, ABGs, airway care & emergency response
- Support NICU/PICU ventilator management & high-frequency ventilation
- Perform polysomnography & pulmonary diagnostics (where applicable)
- Collaborate closely with physicians & interdisciplinary teams
- Support JCI and regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in clinical education, training & service development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2+ years post-qualification experience
- Critical care / NICU / PICU exposure preferred
- DOH/DHA License (or eligibility)
- BLS / ACLS / PALS certifications
- Strong clinical judgment, communication & teamwork skills
- Passion for continuous learning and patient-centered care
