Ward Clerk – Billing Department
The Ward Clerk will play a key role in supporting the billing process by ensuring accurate documentation, patient record management, and smooth coordination between clinical and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update patient records accurately in the hospital system.
- Assist with billing documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Coordinate with nursing and administrative staff to collect necessary information for invoicing.
- Respond to patient and staff inquiries related to billing and documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of patient data at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field highly advantageous
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferably in billing or clerical roles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital information systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
