Vet Alliance is a leading multi-location small animal veterinary network in the UAE, dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care. We are currently seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join our growing team and support our veterinarians in providing exceptional clinical services.

Role Overview

The Veterinary Nurse will play a key role in supporting veterinarians with clinical procedures, patient care, and ensuring the overall well-being of animals. This position requires a compassionate professional who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, examinations, and surgical procedures
• Prepare animals for surgery and ensure a sterile clinical environment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collect and handle samples (blood, urine, tissue) for diagnostic testing
• Monitor patients and report any changes in condition
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Provide pet owners with guidance on animal care and nutrition
• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of equipment, instruments, and clinical areas
• Handle animals safely with empathy and professionalism
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Nursing or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Nurse in UAE
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
